Andy has joined us from his previous position as head coach at West Heaton Tennis Club. Whilst there he set up and integrated a programme for both the adults and the juniors. Incorporating Junior classes on a Saturday mornings / Sunday Afternoons, as well as a social club night on Fridays, he increased the junior numbers 6 fold within a year. He also worked at 7 local primary schools to increase awareness, enjoyment and an introduction to tennis. Andy also set up Adult coaching groups for beginners / re-starters, as well as regular club players, and carried out additional individual sessions with members throughout the week
MEET THE HEAD COACH
Andy Perry
Jack Hankey is a level 2 Qualified Coach, currently working towards taking level 3 in December. He has been coaching at the Priory for over a year and is currently assisting Andy with delivery of the Club’s coaching programmes.
Jack has played at national and county levels at under 10, Under 12 & under 14's at was formerley part of the LTA futures scheme.
At 11 Jack was coached by Dave Sammel, team GB coach, whilst attending full time at the National Tennis Accademy at Bolton.
Jack is available for individual coaching.
Matthew Brocklehurst is a recently qualified level 1 coaching assistant. He has been assisting Andy and Jack at the Priory for over a year and currently hosts the Sunday Junior Social sessions.
Matt has played for the Priory's Adult Summer & Winter league teams for the last 2 years and was an integral part of the 2nd Teams promotion this year.
